| Euro FanZones
Fanzones or public viewing areas are a worldwide phenomenon and the first major
European outdoor fanzone was a huge hit with an estimated 10
million people visiting the golden mile at Berlin for the 2006
Soccer World Cup. Last year at the Euro Soccer Championships
the fanzones were again a huge success with most major cities
hosting fans in their town squares and over 5 million people
attending in Austria and Switzerland alone.
